Introduction

This course provides healthcare and social care professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, respond to, and report safeguarding concerns involving adults at risk, in line with legislation and statutory guidance. It covers the Care Act 2014, the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal, and how to work within the six safeguarding principles set out by law. Delegates will learn how to meet their legal and professional responsibilities to protect adults from abuse, neglect, and exploitation, while ensuring decisions are person-centred and uphold human rights.
